Philip Seymour Hoffman won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Truman Capote in the 2005 film "Capote." He was also nominated for three other Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for "Charlie Wilson's War" in 2008, Best Supporting Actor for "Doubt" in 2009, and Best Supporting Actor for "The Master" in 2013. Unfortunately, Hoffman passed away in 2014 at the age of 46.
